My name is Brónagh Walsh, I’m a final year physiotherapy student from Ireland. I have a keen interest in MSK physiotherapy, especially young adult hip. I am hoping to complete my masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy to enable me to work with both humans and animals!
I had hip dysplasia as a baby, treated with a Pavlik harness, unfortunately in my early teens I began to have hip pain. After going to numerous different specialists, I was finally diagnosed with hip dysplasia. I have since had a Birmingham interlocking triple pelvic osteotomy (BIPO) on my right hip and, most recently, a hip arthroscopy. I am very passionate about raising awareness around hip dysplasia and super excited to be a part of the amazing Miles4Hips team!
