Danielle is a teacher, business owner, wife and mom to Marisa (16), Maia (14) and Mikey (12). In 2004, Danielle had her first hip surgery for a torn labrum that occurred during a fitness class. When the labrum was torn again not long after, she was diagnosed with Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI) and proceeded to have 3 more surgeries on her left hip and one on her right. When the pain came back yet again, she was finally diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and underwent a PAO on each hip. Five years later, Danielle’s two daughters were diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and now Danielle is helping them to navigate their own hip journeys.
