Move your way. Raise hip dysplasia awareness. Be part of a global community.
The 8th Annual Miles4Hips Day of Movement is a worldwide day of movement dedicated to raising hip dysplasia awareness, celebrating the global hip dysplasia community, and enjoying hip healthy movement.
Once a year, people around the world join us for Day of Movement to raise hip dysplasia awareness. Additionally, we invite you to join wherever you are and however you want to move.
Walk. Run. Ride. Roll. Stretch. Dance. Garden. Hike. Do your PT exercises. Take your dog around the block. Head to the park with your family.
There is no distance to complete, no pace to maintain, and no “right” way to participate.
However you participate, you’re part of the movement.
Participating is as simple as:
1. MOVE
Choose any kind of movement that works for you.
2. SHARE
Take a photo or video, share it on social media, and tag @miles4hips + #dayofmovement2026
3. RAISE AWARENESS
Every person who participates helps make hip dysplasia—and the people whose lives are affected by it—more visible.
No registration, purchase, fundraising, or specific activity is required.
Want to do more?
You can wear a Miles4Hips Hip Dysplasia Awareness team shirt, invite others to move with you, organize a local gathering, or use your Day of Movement to raise funds for a hip-related organization or cause.
