
Michael O’Brien is a physical therapist at Melbourne Orthopedic Institute Sports Medicine as well as a post-doctoral researcher. He has extensive experience evaluating and treating adolescent and adult patients with hip dysplasia and has contributed to research on impairments and outcomes in adults and athletes with hip dysplasia. Dr. O’Brien shares his experience as a clinician and researcher in Australia and discusses the national registry for hip dysplasia that is being developed in his country as well as some other initiatives he has been involved with to help standardize diagnosis and treatment for adolescents and adults with hip dysplasia.
